  • How do I book you/get a quote?
    Click Connect from the main menu and fill out your details. I'll reply to you soon after!
  • How should I book you?
    Very easy! The quickest way is to provide me with all the details on this form. I'll get back to you soon with a quote and you transfer a deposit to confirm the booking. Feel free to contact me through the website chat, Facebook, Instagram, call or text (most preferred).
  • How early should I book?
    You should book as soon as possible to confirm me for your event date. The earlier you book the more chances that I can be available for you! Usually, people book 1 – 2 months in advance, even earlier if it is wedding-related or a milestone occasion. 😊
  • Is there a late booking fee?
    Unfortunately yes, as time is very valuable. Please check the Booking section here.
  • What is your process?
    Oh, that's simple! 1. Confirm your booking with a deposit. 2. I arrive and take beautiful photos. 3. After the session, you'll receive an invoice. 4. After editing, you'll receive your online gallery 5. Lastly, your review is much appreciated! 😁
  • Can I book you on the day of the event?
    Cutting it close! But yes, same day booking is possible. There is a $65 fee as it is such late notice!
  • What method of communication do you prefer?
    Texting my number 0421 502 522 is my preferred method but please don’t hesitate to call! You can also use email, Instagram or Facebook.
  • Do you offer video services?
    Yes I can, usually for weddings. If you'd like a video for anything other than a wedding, please mention it during booking and I'll see what I can do.
  • Do you provide album or printing services?
    Unfortunately not yet, but I'm working on it!
  • Do you provide the photos in a USB?
    Yes, this is an optional Add On. The photos will be copied onto a USB with sufficient storage and then delivered to you at a time that is convenient for both of us.
  • Do you have example portfolios?
    Yes! You can see my previous works here.
  • Do you offer photo retouching services?
    Yes, you can ask for your photos to be retouched as you like (fees apply).
  • Do you edit/process the photos?
    Yes, individually editing each photo such as standard colour grading, cropping, tone, brightness and sharpness in a creative style. Some images occasionally require a little more finessing like blemishes and pimples which are not included with my standard packages and are available for an additional fee.
  • What if my event must be postponed?
    You should let me know as soon as possible to check if I'm available for the postponed date.
  • What if I have to cancel my booking?
    Notification of cancellation must be submitted in writing. Cancellations made more than 30 days (excluding the booking date) before the scheduled booking will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days (excluding the booking date) before the scheduled booking will incur a 50% of deposit as a cancellation fee (the remaining deposit is refunded). Deposit is non-refundable if a cancellation is made 14 days or less before the scheduled booking (excluding the booking date).
  • When will I get my photos?
    I usually try to complete the edits and submit them within 7 business days. There are Add On packages called FAST and INSTANT that can shorten the submission time up to just 2 business days!
  • How are the photos delivered?
    Depending on the package, your gallery may be delivered through standard Google Drive or Premium Pix Gallery.
  • Do you provide the photos in a USB?
    Yes, this is an optional Add On. The photos will be copied onto a USB with sufficient storage and then delivered to you at a time that is convenient for both of us.
  • How many photos will I get?
    It depends on what type of booking. On average, a three-hour event can have 200 - 250 photos, the same applies to weddings. Portrait shoots have certain limits on the number of deliverables depending on the package chosen.
  • What is your process?

  • Do you provide RAW images?
    All images are taken in RAW and edited individually. Only these edited images are delivered. However if you are extremely interested in the RAW files, it is available at a additional fee and agreement.
  • Do you keep a backup copy if I lose my photos?
    A secure archive is kept for 2 months just in case.
  • What if I lose my photos after 2 months?
    Please contact me and I'll have a look. It may be likely that I still have the copies. Please keep your photos secured on a reliable device.
  • Do I own the copyright to the photos that you submit to me?
    To simplify the legal terms: You don't own the copyright but you can happily edit, post, print and create an album with the images. What you cannot do is advertise or let someone else advertise it for a commercial purpose or financial gain. If someone else is interested in using Kevin James Photography images for advertising, please have them contact me.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    I accept: Bank transfers (PayID included) Cash
  • What is your payment structure?
    Very simple! Deposit to confirm the booking. The remaining is paid when invoiced after the booking.
  • Is there a late booking fee?
    Unfortunately yes, as time is very valuable. Please check the Booking section here.
  • What if I need you to photograph for longer than expected?
    If I’m available, then I would be happy to do so at my additional hourly rate. Check "Extending or Shortening hours" in Terms of Service.
  • Is there a fee if my booking is starting later than expected?
    There is no fee for a late start, I’d be happy to help around to get things moving! Pushing the hours past the booked time will incur over-time fees (check out Extending or Shortening here).
  • What if my event must be postponed?
    You should let me know as soon as possible to check if I'm available for the postponed date.
